Blondie and Her Kids

I remember this duck from last year when she was just a baby. Her mother was a bit paler than the other Mallards but Blondie was very pale indeed. She was easy to spot since she was so different from the other Mallards. This afternoon as I watched all the activity on Scudder Pond, I spotted Blondie with babies. Seems at least one of the male Mallards was attracted to her unusual look. Her kids are adorable and all seem to be just like most other Mallards. Take a look at the family in large.
