Piercing the Gloaming (2014.119)

A grey day, which matches my mood. Am rather befuddled by life in general at the minute, and the humid blanket of fog demonstrates that the world has sympathy for me.

But the lights of the tram pierce the gloaming. The relentless nature of the tram project, which is late, under specification, over budget, and universally reviled by residents is somehow embodied in those piercing LEDs. It is now inevitable. And we as residents must adapt and adopt. Make use of that which has been thrust upon us.

A backblip, this photo represented the nadir of my week. Somehow things got better hereafter, and I'm not entirely sure why.
