Currents

I had one of the top 3 scariest moments of my life when out with Sam today. We were playing by the river, it was shallow and he was enjoying splashing about with his ball. But then I threw it too far by accident and he was off, swimming his little legs off, right towards the obviously strong current of the river.

He was swimming like mad but still going in the opposite direction and running out of mountable bank. I could see the panic in his eyes as I tried to cheer him on and sound enthusiastic about his returning nothing was wrong.

I genuinely thought I'd have to go in after him. I got a scare. Little paddles from now on Sammy, you aren't a big strong young dog!
