The kidz are alright!

Arlo had an amazing day today. A morning of mooching around in his pants playing the wii and an afternoon of absolute mayhem at his birthday party.

19 kids. Between 4 & 6. Rampaging round my garden.

I'll give you a second to think about that.

It was a great party. I actually love Arlo's pals and can see why he likes each and every one of them. After everybody left, it was just us and Struan (who Arlo had invited to a sleepover). We built Lego, ate beans on toast and then had a campfire with marshmallows for toasting.

These 2. So much history between them considering their age. You see them together and hope all kinds of things for them. From a personal and very basic perspective I hope they'll always make each other roar with laughter the way they do now.

They are a bloody joy to be around.
