The Day After . . .

. . . Christmas always brings the last few greeting cards, so opening the mailbox is fun. I love getting mail. I'm grateful that a few people mail their cards late.

So we've had a fairly quiet day home. It's cold outside, so we stayed in. After morning coffee, I switched to a pot of hot delicious tea and read the cards that arrived today. Soon it will be time for our evening meal and a night in front of the fireplace being lazy.

I didn't clean any closets or cupboards or sort any of the holiday clutter. I have, though, thoroughly enjoyed the day. Thank you to everyone who has commented the past several days.

The sun has just gone down here in Southern California.
