Wray Heros and Villans

Got up before the birds today at a stupid hour to go and hear the birds get up and sing their dawn chorus. Went with Mrs Wild to Hoghton Tower, a stately home pile nearby to home, for an organised dawn chorus follow by a full English. great to hear all the songs on a freezing but bright and still morning. As the day was young we then tripped up to Wray Village for the Scarecrow festival and walk to see the fabulous blubells in Roeburndale. Now it's time for bed.
