When St Pancras above ground is so glorious, it's a shame the FCC experience from subterranean platforms A and B is so dire. They use the oldest rolling stock on the network - all the stuff other companies have disposed of - and the noise as they screech into and away from the platforms is excruciating. Today, every train is delayed and mostly not stopping at all the stations scheduled, which makes the odds of getting to my destination close to punctually comparable to that of winning the lottery.
