Too damp to do anything much outside, but spent the morning getting ready for the arrival of the season's first helper who duly appeared this afternoon.

He is from Taiwan and has spent 8 months travelling overland from China, through Mongolia and Russia, Israel. Iran. Greece, so has many stories to tell.
He has nearly earned his keep in entertainment value but it remains to be seen how much work gets done ..
