Peggy's new room

Called in before we set off home after lunch, and sorted a few bits of paperwork out for Peggy and took her some mail. She'd just had a lovely shower in her ensuite facilities, and was happily having a cuppa and her favourite biscuits ( pink wafers - they always bring her two now they know...).
The tapestries on her walls are ones she did herself which we brought from her bungalow, and some of her husband's pastel landscapes are on the corridor walls ( one just outside her room ). Though she still thinks about her bungalow, the transition to care has been as positive an experience as it could have been, thanks to her carer and friend Lyn, and the lovely staff at Somerset House.
