After the agony.... The ecstasy!!!

This time last season we made the championship play offs and had a cruel exit in the semis to a painful missed penalty & equally painful last seconds goal that saw Watford go to the finals.

Today I got to see my beloved Leicester City lift the championship trophy after a season which has proved to be exceptional on so many levels. To gain promotion with six games remaining then to go on to take the trophy with 102 points breaking almost every club record on the way has made my days as a supporter this season some of the best ever! My friend remarked that he never expected he'd get to see us win this trophy as it's the football league champions trophy of old (before the premiership even existed). For me, it was a day to enjoy, cry with joy, jump up & down, Mexican wave and cheer till I have no voice.

And spare a thought for poor Doncaster who thought till the dying minutes they had claimed their place in the championship next season only for Birmingham City to snatch it away from them. Big hugs to their fans....been there, done that. Cried then too.
