Knutsford 'royal' Mayday...

Glorious day for the May Day parade in Knutsford today.

Morris men, penny farthings, shire horses, bag pipes, 100s of local children in costumes, the May queen and as you can see from my blip slightly more exotic dance troops....

We had a fab day. Lovely lunch, perfect spot in the sunshine to watch the parade, bumped into lots of people we haven't seen for ages ...

It is always such a great, well spirited family day... Great way to start the bank holiday weekend!
