Piano update

Last month, I blipped about Ben, the piano tuner who had set up home in a tent on Portobello beach. He was at the beach today, having been told by the police that the bailiffs were on their way to demolish his tent.

He told me it has nothing to do with the alleged reason of his own health and safety, but is because a few local people think he's a nuisance and want him moved on. He might be right, although the locals I've spoken to all welcomed the quirky colour he brought to the neighbourhood.

His piano is still inside the tent, a bit broken, but still being played by local kids. But I forgot to ask him why he's playing a home-made fake keyboard with what looks like a dowsing rod.
