Decided to tackle Whernside today...

Puffed up the hill....

Staggered down the hill.....

...but had a really fine 'centring' day. Sat for half an hour watching the light on the small tarn which is visible on the way up. Took some photos and felt very Zen.

When I got up to get rolling again I found that I was surrounded by other folks doing exactly the same as me.

Ahhh....
