The Patchings Stained Glass Disc

Had half a day off from Basil today. Alan drove us to Patchings Art Centre, north of Nottingham for the launch of the Connected 2014 photo exhibition which is organised by the Nottingham Flickr group in conjunction with Patchings.

An interesting exhibition and two talks on landscape photography by pro photographers - which certainly stimulated the brain cells into thinking outside the box a bit. I even bought one of their books!

In between times, I wandered down to the caff where this lovely stained glass disc is on display. A replica has been lowered down the well which was discovered only recently. For the princely sum of 20p, you can light up the disc down the well and view the stained glass in a different light.
