Grey Paree

A change of scene ... a view of the Gare du Nord, not the most glamorous of stations, especially when it is pouring with rain outside. Best viewed large.

Off up north for a birthday party, we decided to try the train instead of the plane, so it was TGV to Paris and then the Eurostar ... about ten hours door to door, slightly more comfortable and less hassle than Ryanair, but considerably more expensive!
