Sigiriya Rock

On the road again.........….....it's back on the bad boy scooter and were heading north to Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is an Unesco world heritage site. We went a drive around but were stopped by a security man. The man was in this treehouse over looking the rock and came down to talk to us. He told us we couldn't take the scooter in and had to buy a ticket. We didn't want a ticket as it was $30 each and my leg was to sore to climb all the stairs anyway. So I asked the man if we could just take pictures from his treehouse and he said yes. It was a quality view and saved us some money. #tight

Afterwards we made a snap decision to head upto a place called Nilavelli beach on the east coast which was quite a drive away and by the time we arrived we were exhausted. We checked into an amazing hotel that's a 20 metre walk from our room to the sea!! This place is actual paradise and for £25 a night its a bargain. I had a massive Sri Lankan curry and sorted a diving trip out for tomorrow.

At night we sat on the beach having a few beers watching sun set and crabs running all over the place. It's been a long amazing day so it's time for bed.
