This is the second ever electric guitar I bought, many years ago when I was a student. I spent my student grant on it of course - my parents were less than pleased!

Now I'm up to six guitars which is outrageous considering my level of (or lack of!) ability, but two of them were inherited, and I was in a band for years so I had the excuse to keep accumulating for a while. I don't play much these days, but I could never get rid of any of them - they all have their own sentimental value.

Initially I'd attempted to photograph all of my guitars for this week's 'collections' assignment, but haven't figured out an interesting way to do it yet. I have lots of guitars and a very small and cluttered flat so it's proving to be a bit of a challenge! Oh well, a few more days yet to come up with something.....
