Heron at Yellowcraig

A gloriously sunny day for a walk along Yellowcraig beach. I am glad thought that I was wrapped up in two fleeces and a windproof.

By the time we reached the headland facing Law Rocks it was time for a seat. While chatting during the rest, a Grey Heron came to search the rock pools for its lunch.

It was quite spectacular with is neck stretched out while looking for food.
