Friday: Tiles

Somehow I thought this photo was going to come out slightly better but that's before I realised the floor wasn't terribly clean.

K. and I were invited to a friemd's house for dinner.  They live in a nice old apartment block in the centre of town - a lot of these places still have original features including the floor tiles.  These ones are 120 years old.  

I could do a whole series around the different floor tiles you find in the buildings here.
