Well, I did it. I've entered the Shine Night Walk 2014. I had been contemplating it for a few weeks but my mind wasn't really in the right place for it. I didn't do it last year even though I had paid the entrance fee. I was just in too dark a place to even consider doing any kind of training for it. Besides, I had already done the Moonwalk earlier in the year!

Took 6 big boxes of crockery to the charity shop and then went out to lunch with my aunt, which, as always, was blooming marvellous. Home to feed the family and then I went out to my friend's house for a curry and a catch up. I guess my training should start tomorrow before all the food I've eaten today has time to reach my hips! (It may be too late!)
