Ullapool

Day one of our May holiday. It really is a lovely time to holiday in Scotland, the countryside looks amazing. We had a good journey, despite road closures, detours and then an hour stuck in traffic in Inverness. Ok, to be honest the traffic jam took the enjoyment out the road trip a little.

We are spending the night in Morefield Motel in Ullapool, which I would recommend. It is dog friendly, clean and comfortable and serves lovely food with Scottish cider! There is lovely walks in the immediate vicinity for the dogs too.
