Tick Tock Tide Time

This Tide Clock stopped working while boat was laid up for winter.

Eventually I got round to unscrewing from saloon bulkhead and changing the battery, I was more than a little disappointed when it didn't spring into life.

Last weekend, still not working and after some serious tapping, shaking and everything short of hitting it with a hammer there was not a tick!

At great expense, purchased, fitted and set new clock.

Being mean I just couldn't put the old one in the 'skip', so brought it home and there it sat in the box that came with the new clock.

Another few days passed before it I took it out of the box and there it was, complete with old battery, ticking it's head off and neither has it lost a second since.

Anyone want to buy a new clock?
