Another Day Another Drama

Life's never dull for long......

4am this morning, Royal Mile Edinburgh and the fire alarm in the hotel went off, what a fright we had. And although we probably shouldn't have, but we did get dressed very quickly and vacated the hotel. The majority of the guests had dressed, but one or 2 did appear in their pyjamas, and it was pouring rain... luckily we were quickly shown into a conference centre in another hotel nearby and 20mins later we could go back to our hotel. It did take us a while to get back to sleep, luckily it was a false alarm.

Had a lovely day today in Edinburgh, the sun was shining and I had so many photos that I found it hard to choose a blip, if only every day was as easy as this..... The Castle was splendid as usual, the sun was shining on Arthurs Seat, I also took a few shots of The Scottish Parliament Building (It it is a very strange building) but I liked this shot as its unusual and has a story to tell

Back home now and will catch up with journals at weekend, hopefully tonight's sleep will be less eventful!
