In jail

I'm sure the dogs think they have been put in jail when they go to kennels. They have been to these kennels on several occasions but as I try to leave them Millie cries and tries to climb into my arms, so I have to walk away quickly.
It's a very nice kennel and I'm not worried about their treatment, but they only get let out of their run for two 15 minute sessions each day. Ironic, considering the name of the kennel translates as 'happiness is in the field'!
All this is a bit different from what they are used to, as when we lived in the US the kennels had internet cameras so we could check on what they were doing whilst we were on holiday, and they were kept amused and stimulated with an employee playing with them all day!
It's only for a few days, as I'm off to the UK for my sister-in-law's 50th birthday celebrations, so I'll be back to release them from jail on Tuesday!
