One of my favourite topics for photography is the weather. The cloudscape in the Western Isles is a never-changing backdrop, and the subject matter for nearly 4,000 pictures in my collection. Today's picture shows a wintry shower moving away east, after giving us a healthy dollop of hail, sleet and snow on this Winter Solstice Day.
