A Mother's Love

A mother limpkin feeding her young a snail. There were six babies, along with mom and dad. The parents were catching snails and feeding the chicks. I sat very still and watched from within 10 feet (3 meters).

First time for me at Circle B Bar Reserve. It is Lakeland, Fl. Got caught in the rain while hiking, but will go back. One of the most awesome wildlife reserves I have been to! Debbi, when you move you will be about an hour away!!

Rained on me the entire two hour motorcycle ride home as well!
