Hanningfield Nature Reserve

We left the cottage today and set off on the next leg of our journey. Unfortunately traffic jams (plural) were the order of the day and the 1.5hr journey in the morning took 3hrs!

We had planned to stop at Hanningfield Reservoir and Nature Reserve for a walk and a photography trip. We had a 45 minute walk through the woods to the cafe for lunch and then the return walk. I did take what I thought was a nice picture of some of the bluebells but I wasn't that happy with the result when I got it on the computer. So, we have a poppy in the Wind in the Willows garden outside the visitors centre instead.

Then another hours journey to our hotel just outside Ipswich. Just one night here, we're off again tomorrow!
