2009 ornament tradition

Every year my best friend and I give each other an ornament--I have quite a few cherished ones over the years. This year she found a mini stocking cap in Christmas colors that looked almost exactly like ones my mom crocheted for us all years ago. And we always were the hats she made us all when we go to pick out our tree each year. See blip of Dec. 4th I think . So I took a picture of my friend holding the little hat ornament:) My mom died in 2001 so we make sure her hats live on and this ornament will have a lot of sentimental meaning to me.
