Down by the seaside

We're in Picton this weekend, having a wee break away from the farm. Our accommodation is opposite the sea, so we are sitting here, relaxing watching the ferries arrive, and then depart. This is the Bluebridge ferry, arriving at the Picton terminal. The Interislander came in around 6pm, and is about to depart, back to Wellington. It takes a bit over 3 hours to go from Picton, in the South Island, to Wellington, in the North Island, and vice versa, and on a good day, it is a very scenic sailing.
