Sebastian and the Stag

Sound's like one of Aesop's fables!

My lovely grandson is visiting and we went out to the Red Barn for morning tea. After we'd eaten, and Sebastian had his obligatory iceblock, we went out to feed the animals.

It was really funny listening to Sebastian telling the stag off, but not so funny a minute after this photo was taken when the stag thought he'd charge Sebastian. Fortunately the stag seemed well aware that it didn't want to tangle with the fence so he really only threatened.

Sebastian was oblivious to it - but I was awfully aware of those 14 points and the weight of the animal! I guess they're just not as tolerant as usual during the roar.
