Happy Christmas......

Had a lovely Christmas day with friends........gorgeous food, lovely company, beautiful setting, relaxing atmosphere.

All done and dusted for another year - thankfully! Whilst I truly value the sentiments behind the contemporary Christmas I simply cannot get with the commercialism that goes with it all.

I dream of a Christmas filled with family, friends, love, laughter, fine food and togetherness - but one where the only presents anywhere in sight are those that have been carefully created by ourselves.

And yes - I'm guilty of succumbing to the commercial trap - maybe next year I won't be? Check back then to see!!
