When the fuel range goes blank...

With an indicated 37 miles left on the fabulous looking Alfa dash, I headed 20 miles to the airport and back yesterday.

Despite the fact the meter replaced the digits with dashes on the way home, basic maths says I should have been left with 17 miles.

This afternoon it was definitely time to fill up. On the way the engine missed a couple of times going up hill, the engine light came on, and very soon after I drove into the petrol station to fill up.

I guess the Alfa Romeo fuel range meter is typically Italian Alfa quality.

P.S.: I'll not be trying that again.
