Watching the world go by

In London today I remembered this song and it made me feel old although it came out before I was born, must have been played on Family Favourites (that makes me feel old too). Every time I visit, I seem to be drawn back to this spot near Waterloo Station. It reminds me of the Subtle Knife, a Philip Pullman novel about parallel universes, where a boy finds windows on another world. One day I'll jump through.
