To absent ones

8:30pm and this is my first such beverage for a fair wee while.

Today was an eclectic mix of cycling, working, travelling and making it to my Grandad's bedside.

After taking a few turns for the worst in recent days following a stroke some months ago, today he passed away.

It was very peaceful and my parents and I were with him.

Very grateful to have known him. And that he is free of dementia and of his physical restrictions.
