preening

Was helping with the cooking at the café at church today, though we weren't busy - it takes a while for these things to get established.
we have grandson no3 overnight as the rain had stopped and I had to keep him busy we went down to the ponds after his afternoon nap. He got very excited about seeing ducks as soon as he saw the water and fortunately there were plenty to see, though no ducklings. I managed to get a few decent shots, despite having to make sure he didn't fall in.
He was very good and went to bed no bother - though we heard him singing later. How long before the novelty of Granny and Grandad wears off?
