Ebb tide

Sligo eastury in full flow today.

Weather was lovely, despite dire forecasts of storms and heavy rain. We could see the clouds swirling around but we had no rain whatsoever!

Visited Glencar waterfalls today, quite a spectacular place with granite mountains and a huge fishing lake. The amazing thing about Ireland are the hedgerows which in all the rural areas are full of wild flowers, the primroses area their best and the fuchsias were just coming out.

Back home tomorrow, long drive, west coast of Ireland to the east coast of England!
