A golden day

How can it be May Day already??
It is still cool here in the Rockies, but it is a gloriously sunny day and I had time to go to our local nature center in search of a blip.
What a treat to find this American Goldfinch reflecting the golden sunlight.
I need to put "searching for a blip" higher up on my to-do list!
