Fields in the Evening Sun

There has been a chilly wind in the East of Scotland today - this evening as I drove along my brother's farm road the landscape was looking beautiful with the sun low in the sky - the contours of the newly drilled fields ready for potato planting along with the shadows of the low sun attracted me to this scene and I stopped to capture a few photographs as 10 minutes later it would be gone.

All around the yellow fields of oil seed rape make lovely patches in the landscape and with the recent rain grain fields are becoming multiple shades of green as growth starts to flourish.
