A brief glimpse of sunshine

Today was the beginning of a four-day weekend for Roger - today is a holiday, and then tomorrow the company gives as a "bridge" day. Had the forecast been better we would have gone away for the weekend, but since today and tomorrow were looking rather bleak, we decided to stay put. We were rather late getting going this morning - Roger is still getting over jet lag from his business trip to the States, and I was just feeling lazy! After studying the weather radar, it looked as though there was a gap in the rain showers about mid afternoon, so we headed out for a walk in the Forest. My blip was taken during one of the rare short glimpses of sunshine we got. Half an hour later it was raining again, together with a bit of hail, and distant rumbling of thunder. However, after the rain, we got another glimpse of sun, and everything was sparkling and glistening - almost worth getting wet for!
