ugly jug

Another day spent rummaging through some old stuff. This is a jug I inherited - within is a newspaper clipping suggesting this spectacularly ugly jug (or one exactly like it) was shown at the Great Exhibition in 1851. Intriguing.

Two hours of research later I'm none the wiser.

However, I love it.
