3 rules of train travel

1) always take the first train going in your direction - you never know what is going to happen between the first train and next train - points failure, stuck train, leaf on the line etc

2) never get on the first carriage at the platform - it always has weirdos on it.

3) stop being polite and let people on before you. Then there are no seats left and you have to stand all the way.
