Brittany holidays, day 1

The weather is really quite terrible, but we don't mind, as we're at home, in a place whose environment we know well, not in a holiday resort where you come from with the sole intention of visiting the surroundings.

Therefore a day of lazying about: woken at 9 (which for me is the latest I can get wake up, whatever the time I've fallen asleep), drove down to the village to buy bread (and croissants!), had breakfast and then watched Part 2 of the Millenium trilogy (The Girl Who Played With Fire). We hadn't watched it yet, although we've had it for years.

We then had lunch and... went for a siesta. It's now 5.30 and we are beginning to think of getting ready to get out, as we have a 7.00 reservation at the local crêperie.

How difficult life can be.
