Catch up

I had planned a half day today to catch up with a friend. Since I was still feeling pretty under the weather I just stayed at home til our lunch date. We did a bit of exploring round the city after getting lost simply trying to drive in there. She apologised for not knowing where she was going. I don't think any of us recognise the city enough to be able to navigate it anymore! I can't remember the last time I successfully drove straight to where I was planning in the cbd. Too many roadblocks and not enough landmarks.
It was a pretty chilly day, but when we found a gelato caravan we decided that we could handle just a little more cold.
