Vineyard Sign

It was crisp, clear and cool first thing this morning. After taking the dogs for a very early walk and then dropping Raewyne off at the airport I drove along some country roads on one or two errands. There are several boutique wineries and vineyards along Jacksons Road. Most of them have ‘cellar doors’ and some even have restaurants on site.
This vineyard sign may be familiar to drinkers of fine Marlborough wines. The Cloudy Bay label is famous. It has been around for many years now. I love the logo on the signage, other advertising and its wine bottles. I am not sure whether or not they still produce their distinctive t-shirts but years ago they were a favourite for many. In the past when all of our four children were living and working overseas I posted quite a number of these t-shirts to our offspring. The logos on the t-shirts signaled loudly and clearly that the wearers were from Marlborough, New Zealand!
