A windy accident

The winds are extremely fierce today in the San Fernando valley. There are trees down, power cables down (including the ones that apparently supply the entire traffic light network!)
I spent the morning at my daughter's school only to return to the car to find a hole and some cracks. A rock must have been blown hard against the windscreen breaking it.
So off to replace the windscreen and borrow a rental for the day tomorrow. And I know to park a bit further away from all small pebbles tomorrow. Since my daughter's school and basically the whole city is made up of small rocks, I guess actually it's a wonder it hasn't happened before.
