Trying to beat the rain

I don't know what this neighbor is spreading on his field (hopefully it's lime and not some nasty herbicide because it's blowing all over the place) but he, like all the other Indiana farmers, has gotten a late start. They are working like mad trying to get their crops in the ground; the farmer behind us was still planting at 11:00 last night. That being said, my heart breaks for all the folks affected in the last few days by tornadoes, flooding and, now, wildfires. Such destructive weather.
