What is this stuff ...

Indeed what is it ... well its rain, rain, and more rain and I don't think it stopped all day, the birds in general began to look bedraggled especially the starlings. the blackbird though did manage to keep up appearances and they were very busy this one and his mate have two young ones at least who are bigger than their parents and still demanding food ! Strangely though another pair are just gathering for the nest build ?? Back to this one though - the lines in the picture - RAIN - and Blackbird is not amused ... take care ... :)
