Playcare daydate

The brilliance of play dates! We're so lucky to have such a lovely group of friends, with such lovely children. Play dates have been so helpful, it really is like a form of daycare. The kids have such fun whilst the mums catch up (and take it in turns to watch each other's little ones whilst the others sneak off to eat chocolate biscuits as above!). Nathaniel really enjoyed the faux fur leopard print hat, Disney princess sunglasses, dolls pushchair and pink dolls change bag (which he wears round his neck as a St Bernard would!) such a funny sight...will keep the photos for when he's a sullen teenager! Great to see Becky, Bex and Dawn; and a nice run around the park too.
Went to sing along a story at a childrens centre this morning which wasn't as exciting as we'd hoped. Nathaniel looked unimpressed with the ladies rendition of The Tiger Who Came To Tea. Toddlers are a tough crowd. Although he's got a lovely softy side too, telling me "cuddle Maka Paka" "bit sad" "feel better". Lucky Maka Paka!
