Storm in a teacup

Well that's what I ended up with by the time I had finished...
Made a cup of tea when I got in. and the tea bag floated on top of the water in my glass mug and lots of tiny tendrils of tea twirled down into the water. I thought, "Oh - that's my blip!" I proceeded to try and emulate it...
Yep, you guessed it, it NEVER happened again, much swearing later and this is my best attempt. Not happy with it, but not to be defeated I will be trying similar things again - maybe dye in water? Any tips?
