Sinema
Today I had to visit a few towns in north Wales. I started off in Llangollen and took a pretty picture of the River Dee which runs through the centre of the town.
Then I made my way to the market town of Bala where I photographed this fine building. Built in the 1890s as Victoria Hall it became the Victoria Cinema in the 1930s. It was taken over by Bala Council and renamed Sinema Neuadd Buddug in 1970s. Today it is run by Gwynnedd District Council.
Almost 80% of the inhabitants of Bala speak fluent Welsh and that figure rises to almost 96% among 5-9 year olds.
